How to resume any download on IDM without starting from the begining after getting an error message

   It is frustrating when downloading a large file with idm and you receive an error message saying that you can't continue the download due to an interruption with the network saying you should refresh the download link and surely with this you will have to start from the beginning.With this
tutorial am going to show you how to resume your download maually without starting afresh.

1. When you receive that error message as shown above,you will have to click on cancel.

2. Go back to the website you downloaded it the first time click on the download link again,idm will popup as usual,don't click on the start download,just copy the url of the file as shown in the picture below

3.After copying the url,go back to the list of idm downloads and right click on the file you want to resume the download and click on properties,then go to address, delete the link in that address bar and paste the new link you copied and click on ok as shown below

4.After clicking ok,go back to the file and resume and see the success of your hard work. i used a movie called hot pursuit that is why you are seeing hot pursuit in all the pictures.
