In this post am going to write about on how to install .NET Framework 3.5 on windows 8 and 8.1,The .NET Framework 3.5, however,NET Frame 3.5 is not automatically installed with
Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, and must be separately enabled to run applications that depend on it. This must happen through Windows Update. Am going to write the step by step procedures on how to get installed on your windows, but make sure you are connected to the internet to enable you download the NET Framework from windows update.
1. Go to Control Panel or you can simply type control panel on the search box and click on programs
2.Under programs you will see programs and features, click on turn windows features on or off
3.A box will show-up,tick the first box that is the box containing .NET Frame 3.5(Includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) and click OK
4.Windows will start searching for the required files this would take some few seconds, when windows have finished searching you would see the box containing install feature and skip this installation, click on install this feature as shown below
5.Windows would start downloading the required files, this would take some minutes, when it is done downloading you will get a success message and .NET Frame would be installed on your windows.
NOTE: if you are using a slow internet connection the downloading of the files may not be successful due to interruption on the network and you will get an error message.
